Job Culture
Extremely conservative environment
There is a culture of laziness that wafts through this company.
Some people working there consider themselves 'too senior' to do any work.

Assistants are not respected here.

The hardest part of my job was trying to keep up with an unmanageable and increasing workload.

The devil here is the EA to the CEO. She is extremely fake and likes to engage in gossip and negative 'pillow talk' with the CEO about colleagues at work.
Pros
4 weeks vacation
Cons
Management team blindly assigns WAY too much work.

Old office, good team
The office is really dark and old. Other than that, I enjoyed my short time with CPAB. The people there are friendly and there was no real day-to-day stress.

Extremely interesting high;level professional work
CPAB is an important national regulator that oversees the work done on audits of public companies by Canada's accounting and auditing firms. its work helps to ensure that the firms are doing high-quality work which protects financial markets and the public. It is a good place to work.

Very Conservative Environment
Extremely conservative environment. A typical day at work consists of Calendar management, booking hotels, updating documents and websites. My co-workers are great. The hardest part of the job is dealing with a constantly increasing workload.
Pros
5 weeks vacation
Cons
Extremely long hours, colleagues keep calling in sick (adding to workload), demotivating, ineffective and verbally abusive management team
