Great Full Time Job - Changing Business is a minor downside Roadmaster Admin Assistant (Current Employee) – Scarborough ontario – 16 April 2014 Great place to work however with all these changes being made it has become hard for everyone to stay positive. The culture is changing and many people have a hard time embracing change which results in a disorganised negative workplace. It is getting better and will continue to get better as these changes start to die down and they become a habit again.
Great pay, Expenses, Benefits, Pension
Away from home the majority of the time
Other Canadian Pacific Employee Reviews Worst Company Ever. Conductor (Current Employee) – Calgary, AB – 16 May 2018 Culture of fear. Constantly under attack from management. Hostile American takeover, militant upper management. Auditors deny claims and make deductions from your paycheck months later. Called for work 1 minute before your holidays begin for a 40 hour round trip. Company does not honor the contract and forces you to work 12-14 hour days, denies legit monetary claims, unjust suspension and firings. One of the most poorly run companies in Canada.
20 minute lunches, timed with stop watch, to ensure you get the full 20 minutes on that 11 hour yard shift
Work 3 months consecutive, earn 3 days off, get called 1 minute before your booked days off and lose 2/3 days
Was this review helpful? Yes 2 No Report Abysmal Morale Train Conductor (Former Employee) – Toronto, ON – 27 April 2018 This Place has no vertical communication between labour and management. It is micromanaged "top-down" by individuals who are completely unplugged from the realities of the job.
Benefits, working outdoors, great coleagues, lots of self direction and responsibity.
Abysmal morale, high animosity, mistrust between labour and management, multiple examples of petty and vindictive behavior.
