Working in the trades on site is very limited as most of the large jobs are contracted out so trades only get the small tasks to do.A lot of sitting around and waiting for work to start.Micro managed and poor supervision. They are big on safety on site
Good benefit package
I love this place. Love it.Perhaps it is because I am a 31 year veteran AND worked for 5 years for a company providing training for the military that I just amazed that supervisors/managers can be respectful and not abusive. The respect I receive is off the charts and the benefits are equally amazing. I simply love love my job of courseware development.
The odd dinosaur who should retire.
I really enjoyed working with CNL. I was well qualified for the work so had little trouble delivering. One really should know what they’re doing to succeed here. It’s not for remedial learning. What made it stand out was the lack of office politics. Egos were in check and respect was mutual all the way around.
Interesting work, excellent pay, good people
IT infrastructure was a bit weak in places but this challenge was fun.
this company has been good to work for but are facing many challenges with the new direction of the company and the federal government. The hardest part of the job is to work through the company processes and procedures to meet all your annual deliverables. The overall culture is very broken because of all the uncertainty and change going on with the new direction of the company.
Interesting job with great work colleagues. Move into private management in last 3 years (government owned, contractor operated). Undergoing a major re-organization.
Good salaries and benifits
Much change and re-organization over the last 3 years sinse contractors took over management.

Excellent place of employment. Vast culture, ability for career progression and balanced community advocacy and involvement makes coming to work easy. All organizations drive to common goals and transparent corporate operations and alignment.
Work was great, safe, all personnel friendly, supportive. Felt as a big family that is positive and willing to work hard, teach, learn and play. Company is oriented to research and innovations and supports anyone with their projects and impacts on future
great people, safe, fun
in the middle of the nowhere
Great opportunity for training and advancement. Has benefits and pension package. Commute was a little tiresome (45 min) each way. All types of employment offered on the R&D campus (days, shift) technical, non-technical etc.
Long waits in traffic to arrive in mornings, lots of parking but far walk to offices. Necessary security processes make it difficult for break time to get to food accessibility. Remote location require travel to work with no transit options for the local area. Overall great place to work if you are willing to do the drive and walks, benefits are incredible as well as the salaries. Atmosphere is good but some uncertainty for the future of the company however promises for a growing organization.
Worked there for 25 years. Challenging positions, but very rewarding experience. Some growing pains as the company transitions from government managed to privately managed, but continually improving.
Very safety oriented company.
Some of the infrastructure is old and outdated.
