Can be a good place to work but depends on what department you’re in

Indeed featured review

The most useful review selected by Indeed
Lots of great people work here. Pay is below industry standard but still better than outside this industry. Job posting most of the time doesn’t match the actual job you’re hired to do. You will be expected to go above and beyond your role to cover for understaffed departments, depending on where you work.

Pros

Coworkers, health benefits

Cons

High workload, unorganized

Energy and drive are not rewarded.

The organization is driven by procedure and rules that often interfere with the efficient and successful completion of projects. Energy and drive are not rewarded. Management often has an adversarial relationship with staff, partially driven by distrust between union and management. Very unpleasant work experience.

Pros

Good salary for young professionals.

Cons

Projects are driven by procedure manuals.

Contract software developer

I really enjoyed working with CNL. I was well qualified for the work so had little trouble delivering. One really should know what they’re doing to succeed here. It’s not for remedial learning. What made it stand out was the lack of office politics. Egos were in check and respect was mutual all the way around.

Pros

Interesting work, excellent pay, good people

Cons

IT infrastructure was a bit weak in places but this challenge was fun.

Great Place to work and people to work with

People are great and Work atmosphere is superb. Top dollars paid. Quiet town and good Nature around. Work @ cottage kind of setting.

Great people at worker level - not so much at senior management

Prior to the company becoming Government Owned, Contractor Operated (GOCO) it was a truly great place to work. Great people, good culture. Since then, the atmosphere has been quite tense, with vast uncertainty about the future. If you are just looking for short term work with good pay, it could be a good fit for you. If you are looking for a career, look elsewhere. And if you decide to work there and are coming in from another area, rent and don't buy a home!

It was a good experience - a contract that got extended. The job was to take data - transform it - load it into spreadsheets - and then load into Equis using their load module.

Pros

Cons

Sick place

I have been working there for more than a year. I am looking forward to leave and find a new job. The working conditions are poor. A lot of silo and lack of team work. Some managers like more employee than others and so there is a lot of differential treatment and favoritism . If you are not happy there , it is difficult to look for job since the area is isolated and difficult to commute to major cities . I do not recommend this place!

Pros

Nice area in summer

Cons

Lack of respect

Avoid at all cost !

The company is going through tremendous changes , however, the old guard is still controlling and the mentality did not change. The people from the area believe it is their company and they hire from within. Do not not be surprised to see a secretary becoming a manager after 10 year of work. They train their staff so much they lack skills. Interesting , an employee who follow few hours of training will claim he or she is an expert in the field. Avoid because, the place is full of harassment and bullying

Pros

good benefit

Cons

a lot of unqualified people are have managerial position
