The people are great everything else is terrible
Box Office Agent/Host (Former Employee) –  Winnipeg, MB6 December 2019
Your low-level coworkers are spectacular people that make coming into work worth it but you will be treated at the same time like a child by the Management Team as well as an automaton that does not require to sit nor do anything but stare at a concrete wall for hours on end until a visitor walks up and activates you. You will be condescended, belittled, and told you are being unreasonable/unprofessional should you express any concerns to management.

Days are peaceful but mundane.
Host (Former Employee) –  Winnipeg, MB9 August 2019
CMHR is an amazing place with an amazing goal. You'll never get over the beauty of the building and its amazing architecture. Being a host involves standing and waiting for visitors to have questions, and overall being friendly. Management was chaotic, and changes frequently.
Pros
Very stress free, good people
Cons
Little activity, days feel long

Welcome Host (Current Employee) –  Winnipeg, MB1 April 2019
Wonderful place to work at. Great opportunity for people to enhance. their visitor service and experience. It is important however to understand that everyone is included, from a little child to an elder.
Pros
Great place to gain costumer and visitor experience.

A great place to work at
Volunteer (Current Employee) –  Winnipeg, MB17 June 2018
The Canadian Museum for Human Rights is really a great place to work/volunteer at. You get to meet new people every time you go there and the best thing is that all people who are already there are always welcoming you.
