Canadian Industrial Paramedics Careers and Employment

About the company

Some of Canada's most dangerous work is performed in remote and isolated locations. When an accident happens and someone's life is on the line, a Canadian Industrial Paramedics' professional will assess and treat the injured worker on the spot and coordinate rapid transport via ground or air to the appropriate hospital. Potential tragedy is avoided and your valued worker's illness or trauma is reduced -- as is recovery time. Operational shutdown time is minimized-all because you've made the best decision by hiring an onsite medic from Canadian Industrial Paramedics.

A company with room to grow

The staff you work along side are great, the company itself has a lot of room for development. Unless full time status hours are scarce. Staff tend to get lazy and fail to do equipment and kit checks leading to more responsible staff to carry the dead weight. Company does not listen to staff when they mention they want to advance and grow and take additional training which leads to staff frustration. Recommended work place for people who have met all their training desires outside of the company as you will not be given an opportunity to get additional specialty training through the company.

    Canadian paramedics

This company is horrible to work for, the training in way under rated and the management/owners are not very nice people. They treat their staff like garbage.

    Good Place to work

Typical day would depend what job site you were working on. You would do an inspection on your truck and equipment to make sure you had everything you needed. Then if you were on an industrial site you would attend the morning safety meeting and through out the day manage the site head count and give site orientations to those who did not have it.

Management was good and supportive. Everyone was friendly and overall a good place to work

Hard part was being away fro home so much but that is just part of the job.

    Great Company to work for

Treat employees like people, unlike most other remote region / industrial EMS companies. Provide EMS continuing education programs in house approved by ACoP.
