General Labourer (Former Employee) –  Les Cedres, QC20 December 2015
it was only temporary work; I began my day with inventory; counting and recording on a paper what was in a box what shelve number and row it was in, counting and updating on paper how many was in the box. when all the inventory was finished my day began with looking at the data on the new sheets and updating the information into the computer system. coworkers were very nice when i had questions.

aircraft maintenance engineer/ helicopter mechanic (Former Employee) –  fort mcmurray21 August 2013
a typical day at work entailed scheduled and emergency maintenance on the fleet within the fort mcmurray region. long hours and shift work.

i learned quickly on this job that management is key to operations running smoothly. they lacked in this department considering they could not get a management employee to stay full-time in fort mcmurray which leant to my decline of interest in staying with this company.

my co-workers were amazing although I was the only permanent base engineer so they were rotating coworkers.

the hardest part of that job was balancing the management change up every month.

most enjoyable part of my job here was wrenching on these machines
Pros
poor pay and management and lack of time off
Cons
good coworkers and great knowledge between them
