Horrible
Anynomous (Former Employee) - St. Catharines, ON - 16 August 2023
Indeed featured review
The most useful review selected by IndeedThey do not care about any of the employees, very toxic work environment. Only great thing was my co-workers and the physicians. I do not recommend this company.

Both good and bad. I was given opportunities you don't often find in larger companies. Managers are difficult to deal with .
Real Time Management Analyst (Former Employee) - St. Catharines, ON - 22 July 2023
What is the best part of working at the company? Good pay and medical benefits. What is the most stressful part about working at the company? Poor management and rampant nepotism. What is the work environment and culture like at the company? Close-knit employees aside from managers. What is a typical day like for you at the company? Slow-paced. Plenty of time between calls.

Over worked under paid
Patient Care Coordinator (Former Employee) - Toronto, ON - 31 March 2023
There was never room to grow, never compensated correctly for yearly increases. Overall terrible place if you value feeling good about your work and time invested into a company. Stay away unless your family with management as nepotism rules the day with this place.

Pizza party
Cons
Everything else

No Structure or Management Guidance
Booking Agent/Inbound Calls (Former Employee) - St. Catharines, ON - 20 March 2023
There is a huge amount of nepotism at this company. If you work here, be prepared for a ton of drama and being dragged into it even though it has nothing to do with you. Constantly on eggshells about your job. When COVID hit and everyone worked from home, we were threatened with job security if callers could hear our pets or children making noise. This was one of the most unprofessional places I have ever worked, management would scream at you.
Pros
casual dress
Cons
unprofessional

Nepotism is rampant.
Call Centre Administrative Support (Former Employee) - Ccc - 16 November 2022
Aurora owns CCC and manages it terribly, similar to how they manage themselves into the ground. Nepotism rules the roost and loyalty isn't honored. Most of the people promoted are either married or friends. Laziness tends to get one promoted while others clean their mistakes weekly. Raises of a "potential" 3% yearly on your hourly wage is dehumanizing.

Good company
Medical Office Assistant (Former Employee) - St. Catharines, ON - 25 October 2022
I highly enjoyed my time working here. It was wonderful to work with such a supportive team, I really enjoyed patient interactions and the experience I have gained from working here.

It's an okay job
Cannabis Consultant (Former Employee) - Ottawa, ON - 3 October 2022
I can't give an unbiased review as it was during pandemic so things were unorganized. Management was nice and helpful it was the bilingual Doctor who messed everything up. Became very stressful fast.

Biased and Unfair
Medical Office Assistant (Former Employee) - Ontario - 9 September 2021
CCC's management was truly unfair. They were only biased towards family members who were involved in the company. Kept around people because of their last name and paid salary for doing nothing to bare minimum (which is still happening). There is no job security in this company. Even with Aurora knowing this they still kept those people around. Even with all the hard working employees who actually do their job and work the extra time do not get recognized and they are the first to get laid off or let go. I would highly not recommend working here.
Pros
None
Cons
Unfair, biased, terrible pay

Stressful and unproductive
Had different roles (Former Employee) - ON - 25 January 2021
Nepotism and incompetent management is leading this business. Your are not going to grow unless you are a family member or friend. As medical and health professional, I truly believe I am traumatized.

It’s a really good place to works
Coordinator (Former Employee) - Toronto, ON - 17 September 2019
Working at Canadian Cannabis Clinics it didn’t really feel like a job or a competitive environment, it felt like a family where you fall and someone is right there to pick you up ;)

Great place to work and educate yourself on Cannabis
Cannabis Counselor (Current Employee) - Edmonton, AB - 25 July 2019
I enjoy helping patients find a product that could be beneficial to their therapeutic goals and educating them on the products. It can be challenging at times as Cannabis is not for everyone and may not always show positive results for our patients. But over all i have seen it help hundreds of people and that is the most rewarding part about my job. I have learned so much from this company!
Pros
Great Staff incentives
Cons
Fewer Hours

Good wage and benefits but no advancement coupled with very poor management
Inbound Patient Care (Current Employee) - St. Catharines, ON - 9 April 2019
Call centre setting with strict daily and monthly goals. Unsupportive management with very poor communication as to what's going on within the company, this leads to a lot of disorganization and drama that is not dealt with or ever resolved.
- Very toxic work enviroment in a small office.
- False promises of advancement.
- Has significantly decreased employee appreciation and assistance (ie. no longer pays for parking downtown although they had been doing so for years and this is a very well-off company).
- Management hires family and friends with no experience of the roles their given, favoritism is very much noticed here.
The only good thing is the wage which was increased to $17 to make the roles seem more appealing but significant raises are no longer existent here no matter what your work ethic is. You may be able to get 10cents annually, depending on how well your liked.
Benefits are great, should you make your three months probation.
Overall, if your fine with that wage long-term, putting up with bare minimum efforts from management and no chance of advancement, you'll find this satisfactory.
Pros
Good wage and benefits
Cons
Toxic work enviroment, unsupportive management, no chance of advancement, strict daily/monthly goals for call volume, micromanaged

worst job ever
Patient Coordinator (Former Employee) - Toronto, ON - 5 March 2019
Just save yourself, do not support this company, because they will not support you. Will have you feeling exhausted, and you will start to develop back and neck issues due to not having ergonomic friendly office equipment. I just regret the decision, its time I wont get back I could have spent doing something that made me feel happy, not the deep depression this job caused me. For a company that prides themselves on being family..I wouldn't let any employee dwell like that.
Cons
Make you beleive you will grow within the company, instead you become stunted. Overworked like a machine.

Management is poor and violates workers rights
Rather not say (Former Employee) - London, ON - 22 January 2019
Nickle and dime everything to do with regular workers wages but spends frivolously on other things. Very immature management with no business skills or experience running a business. Everyone is very cliquey and that is the only way you will ever be recognized for hard work is if you are friends with a top person in company. If you are not in St Catherine's or Toronto you are nothing.
A company run by children in an unprofessional environment. Will be out of business very soon.
Pros
Aurora as parent company so medical benefits are good
Cons
Very low pay, violates workers rights consistently, petty& immature management

Great Job but not sustainable
Phone Agent (Former Employee) - St. Catharines, ON - 20 January 2019
positive work environment apart from the usual woes and high school drama.
can be very overstimulating as it can be very loud.
management skills lacking and it's very disorganized.
fast-paced, which is nice but takes away from attention to detail which is vital in the healthcare field
patients do seem more like numbers to phone staff
clinic staff is warm but can be very cold and discouraging to patients
Very poor wages with lots of work and details to tend to whilst changes occur rapidly.
Pros
benefits are great, day shifts with weekends off, company events, helping people
Cons
poor wages, constant changes causing further disorganization, no room for advancement, dead-end job constantly fixing other peoples mistakes

Poor management
Administrative Assistant (Former Employee) - Toronto - 6 December 2017
Toxic work environment. Poor management. Some great employees who want to be there to work. New company so a lot of kinks but managers do not want to improve things for employees.
Pros
Helping people
Cons
Management

none
Medical Office Assistant (Former Employee) - St. Catharines, ON - 28 September 2017
Very unorganized, unfairly treated, promised several things I was never given. Only worried about money, not the patient themselves, which is terrible in the medical field.
