I have been employed at CAS for about a year. I am currently a sales employee ( account executive ) This company has been my favorite place to work so far! There is room for growth. The people are outstanding ! and the team environment is awesome. They have always supported me in any areas of my life. There is so much potential to make money , all it takes is the hard work and ambition. The hours sometimes can be long and working weekends can be tough, but the reward outweighs the loss. for me anyway. If you are looking for a great career with rewards that reflect your effort, this is a great place to work !

changing schedule / no weekends ( this doesn't bug me as much as it would others)

Amazing feedback. We are glad you feel supported on your team. While weekends may not always be ideal to work, they are our biggest selling days of the week!

fun to work, work hard play hard, outdoor activity, very strong teamplay and understanding.

CAS is the best place I have worked so far, very good fun environment workplace, strong team mates which push you to give your best all the time, overall stress free work place

Pros

outdoor activity with the whole team like going to a baseball or basketball game, free lunch

Cons

if you take stress than it will eat you up, you just have to trust the system and trust yourself

Fast pace and long hours but money can be good

If you have the personality and efficiency for sales, you will stay. You have to know how to deal with difficult and unpleasant clients, have to be strong minded for any situation.

Built for the Extrovert, fast paced and a great place to learn everyday.

I enjoy working for CAS, it's a great place to engage with people of all walks of life. You get to learn a lot. It's a fast paced environment but a good Team for support in the back end. You do sometimes crave for better hours but that's what Retail Work is all about. Though pretty consistent within the industry. Overall a good place to work and the more motivated you are, the more success you can achieve.

Overall great experience so far.

Great workplace that is conducive for growth, can learn from peers and managers are very helpful. The most enjoyable part of the job is meeting new people everyday and having great sale days, hardest part of the job is low sales days.

Constant Recognition of good work, free lunches, constant support

have to worh hard everyday to make some money

Job of Account executive require you to work hard and you have to be consistent to make some money on a daily basis. When the industry is slow, its very hard to see some money flowing in.

A lot to learn

Fast paced and competitive work place with friendly colleagues, opportunity to learn new things. You can earn a lot of money if you are able to sell a lot of appliances, which helps you get commission.

Pros

Income also depends on how much commission you earn.

Fantastic Place to Grow and Learn!

This is an amazing place to work. Appliances is a different world and this is the best of it! The amount I've learned here surprises me to this day. I feel EXTREMELY confident, when selling to my clients. I have everything available at my fingertips when I need it. Managers are available right away for assistance and it's in their best interest to help their colleagues grow. Pay, work culture, management, learning experience, training is all excellent and Industry leading.

Wonderful work experience

I Came from another province to start in GTA and luckily I got opportunity to work for CAS as an Account Executive which really helped me to develop my carrier sales skills as well and lots of knowledge in appliance industry. I am very thankful to CAS to gave me that opportunity to grow my self as a professional Sales Person.

It's great to hear that you had the support you needed at CAS.

You have a shelf life

Management is absolutely brutal. Extremely incompetent and half of the time don’t even know their own system. Also don’t expect to work there for more than 2 years as they will always find a way to get rid of you. They have cut our hours, decimated our once decent monthly bonus to a much weaker structure. New hires: please know you will not receive bonus for 6 months and you will likely be on hourly for a long time as they usually don’t have stock in priority items. Goodluck!

Thank you for this feedback and I understand your frustrations. Here at CAS, things are constantly changing as we try to improve. Comparatively, we have some of the best working hours for sales associates in the industry! It is also good to note that our compensation and bonus structures are constantly under review to ensure they are meeting their objectives.

Nice place to work

Very nice work environment, lots of opportunities. You can make a lot of money here is you are focused and a hard worker. Also a nice new schedule where we don't do 10 hour days anymore.

Fast-pace, Competitive, Learning experience, Better salary structure, Fast growing company

First thing in the morning I go through my Emails and start my day for new sales through in coming chat, phone calls and walk-in traffic. This placed has helped me to acquire the knowledge and skills I needed to develop in sales and management field which will help me achieve my career goals. Helpful management team makes the work smooth and manageable.

Enjoyable workplace most of the time

Not much to say, other than I've learned a lot working this job, and developed my sales skills exponentially. Quite a few incompetent higher ups such as managers. no extra comment on thisOverall a wonderful place to work and learn on a day to day basis.

Good pay, set sales up for success

A mostly great company. Their systems are set up very nicely for an experienced or inexperienced salesperson. Pay is higher than the competition by a significant margin as well. Great base hourly wage, commission, monthly bonus.

Productive, fun, high paying but not secure job

CAS is very good company and if any person needs to make more money definitely this is the place and commission structure is good. But mostly people looking for the security in their main work which CAS do not provide at all. They thinks that way our pay is high so we will keep hiring al the time. Instead of giving well coaching to up bring they just let you go and do not settle it down. So overall good but not job security.

Lot of improvements needed

The team I am working with is great. However it has become a very stressful job due to the fact that company's sales management team has no sort of guidance and putting constant pressure regarding metrics which does not matter to improving your over all sales. Example would be, Asking to get 20 orders today because we did 20 orders exactly rather than saying we achieved 100k in sales and lets meet or beat the sales done last year that day. The hardest part of this work place is that everyday when your at work, you are worried about some sort of problem arising due to rapid changes in the management and no guidance. Our showroom manager and colleagues are great people, but if your upper management is not in the same category, it wont be pleasant work environment.

A fun workplace to make some "Easy Money"

Easy to get involved even if it is a first "sales" job. If you work hard enough you can easily reach a 100k to 200k according that you work to the right branch.

A fun and rewarding company to work for.

Coming into the showroom, checking all your messages and any changes to your outstanding accounts. Provide fantastic service to your clients in person, over the phone and on-line, with the goal of getting their commitment to make the purchase. Learning and training is an ongoing and a very important part of the job as appliances are always changing. The management team is supportive with a team based focus, which contributes to the culture as a whole. You will manage or own accounts but will certainly help a team member on their day off, etc. If you don't want to be constantly adapting to new changes, you may find this position more of a challenge. One of the many enjoyable aspects would be the flexibility and relationship building you get to experience.

No late retail hours and a flexible atmosphere.
