One of the best employers in Winnipeg!
Realizing of course that not all departments or divisions are the same, my experience with Canada Life has been very rewarding and think of it is a great place for anyone in the workforce whether you are just starting out or have many years of experience to offer this employer. It truly is a great place! Canada Life sincerely cares about their employees! The workplace culture is friendly, collaborative and respectful.

Terrible place to work.
This is a terrible place to work. Everyone is depressed and incredibly stressed out. There is no work life balance and the culture is terrible. They train you online with someone in another province and then throw you to the wolves. Even when you tell them its overwhelming they let you know its your fault. I got 90% or more on all the training and it prepared me quite terribly for the actual job.

Great pay, culture, benefits, flexibility
Company pays generously, encourages professional development, and values work-life balance. Benefits are great. Company has adapted to work-from-home during COVID-19 and has adequate technology in place for us to do our jobs.

That was 20 years ago and I don't recall, but they were mostly about working within a team environment and who I would go to if I had a problem with the paperwork.
