Honestly it's a great job if you don't take yourself too seriously but prioritize others.You need to know a lot about everything and at the same time be a team player. The hours are long but can be rewarding and time flies when it's a busy day and you are helping customers.

1. A typical day would be regular housekeeping, keep things tidy and clean, - more ... restocking shelves, fulfilling customer orders, updating tags, answering the phone, oooing over new items when a shipment comes in and most importantly of all, greeting and helping customers that come into the store.

ProsPaid vacation, benefits, employee discounts, Spiffs, contests, vendor seminars, prizes and discounts, the annual dinner (meeting all the other store employees from other locations), occasional free lunches and snacks
Conslong hours, busy hours, outdated software when it isn't updated or intuitive enough, when the software that's supposed to help you doesn't help you, difficult customers, I suppose if you don't have a good team it can be hard
