C.I.T. Coordinator (Former Employee) –  Haliburton, ON28 August 2018
Fun work - which is rare. Was incredible to work in the environment that is the Haliburton Highlands. Not your prototypical work place. It's up north, 3 hours away from Toronto, surrounded by nature.
Pros
Free room and board
Cons
Long hours

Best summer of my life, great people to work for, kept busy during the day, well managed, free food and accommodation, only problem is lack of freedom but still get days off where we can do what we want

Councilor (Former Employee) –  Haliburton, ON26 March 2017
I learnt lots about how to manage people and programs, as a councillor I had to care for and be responsible for a cabin full of kids 24/7.

typical work days included waking up early to wake up the kids, taking them to breakfast, orchestrating cabin clean up, getting all the kids ready for activities with proper attire and footwear, taking them to all periods, making sure they eat, stay hydrated and stay hygienic all throughout the day as well.

The most enjoyable part was creating a bond with all the different kids.

Tennis Instructor (Former Employee) –  Haliburton, ON10 January 2017
I learned time management skills, how to work with a team and organizational skills. It can be a lot to handle sometimes but provides great life lessons.
