What can i say? It was one of the most demanding places that I have ever worked for. Demanding because they wanted the best experience for the kids that came to them each year.

Exciting, Dynamic opportunity to work with children

Working at a summer camp is a dream summer job, and comes with many perks. The first is the setting- absolutely beautiful wilderness. Other positives include competitive pay (at the appropriate level, considering room and board is included), a highly professional but friendly working culture, and the fulfilling nature of working with children! It is a great place to work if you are willing to commit to long days being enthusiastic (110%), having a great deal of patience working with children of ages 8-16, and have a passion for the outdoors.

Great safe and welcoming workplace
Horseback Riding Instructor (Former Employee) –  Algonquin Park, ON – 15 March 2016
This camp honestly specialized in boozing all kids egos no matter who they are! They make sure all staff members go above and beyond to make sure every child is happy and feels valued no matter what is happening. The camp is an amazing atmosphere with a daily routine and they take very good care of their staff members!

Great summer experience regardless

I enjoyed my time there due to amazing friends, campers and a great natural environment in the heart of algonquin park. I felt like i was part of a family until when i got very sick and was dropped off in the hospital and forgotten. That was very hard on me especially asI saw Arowhon as my family. Hopefully that doesn't happen anymore.

Arowhon otherwise like most other canadian summer camps is a great place to grow and have a memorable summer experience.
