Cambridge Global Payments is the perfect place to start your work life. The people are wonderful and help with anything you need, they are friendly and it feels like a family. The work is good for experience, and there is room from growth and continued opportunities.

It's a very intense work environment, cold call and rude management. However, I learned to stay positive and work hard to get the most of out it. The result was great with great bonus payout.

This place was a great place to work up until it was sold to Fleetcor.
The culture at Cambridge is draining and no incentives.
No room for advancement and no recognition for hard work. Management never give credit when it due.

Although I was the top performer within my branch at the end of the day it did not matter, the american firm that purchased the company is aimed at closing branches and downsizing.

I enjoyed my time at Cambridge working alongside a great team however I am saddened that I was lied to by management and tossed aside without any notice.

Cambridge was my introduction to the world of FX (foreign exchange). Although I had learned a great deal about finance terms insofar as Trading is concerned, their lack of vision for business developers becoming a Trader was their limitation.

Management is poorly run. These are people that are hired for calling. No education here. High pressure sales with emphasis on company profit, not what is right for clients. A miserable place to work, with low employee morale. You want to stay away from here. You'll regret your time here.

Good place to work till you are in the good books of the management

Good place to work till the time you are in the good books of a certain management group. Even if targets are not being met but you are liked by this group, you will be fine.

This causes the issue of not being able to justify certain matters.

Good environment work place. Friendly co- workers. But when new management came on board, alot of things changed. Alot of staffs were not happen. Alot of staffs and departments were shuffled around, causing upset workers.

A typical day at work would be reviewing new applications and conducting research on new clients. Collecting new client data, analyzing for errors and validating information. New projects can be asked throughout the day and special projects are given depending on new products or acquisition of special clients. Every client and project is usually different, which give you chance to learn something new everyday. Management and colleagues are helpful in keeping you up to date on regulatory and policy changes. online webinars and conference are encouraged, and the company covers most costs. The management are always helpful, and give you the knowledge and time to grow within the organization. New ideas are always welcome and encouraged. Friendly co-workers and very knowledgeable, they are very understanding on new employees and take time to teach. The hardest part of the job I would say is explaining and trying to develop a culture of compliance throughout the organization, especially to traders and sales. Overall I would say its an amazing organization, you are aren't just a number and your ideas are excepted and implemented very quickly.

They use the employees and make you work like a sweat shop. No respect or support from HR or management. Wouldn't recommend to apply. Seen hard-working staff just get used and really have no say, even though they speak to the management. Office politics.

Our day begins with any important news on the state of foreign exchange market performance reviews around the world for that particular day and how it may affect different markets buyers and sellers.

This provided me with the knowledge,of what prospects to focus on, what products and services to offer and the ability to up sell, i learned to complete analysis of companies financial statements (if available) i learned to optimize time for better results,to recognize buying signals from prospects.

The entire management were always supportive as was my co-workers.

The hardest part of my job was, when i over sell and lose a prospect.

The most important part of my job was closing the lead for follow up. getting,my weekly quota and pot luck days. Almost every day was full of laughter and fun.

Free lunches some times and getting to leave early on fridays if possible.

A typical day at work would begin with checking and responding to emails, making cold and warm calls to clients, meetings both inside and outside the office, some paper work, reading up on the markets for 15 or 20 minutes, finally some reflection on the day and how to improve process.

Management and co-workers were great. Everyone was on the same page.

I learned that healthy corporate culture is the most important thing in a company so that it stays set up to succeed.

That hardest part of the job was having to leave so soon due to personal reasons.

The most enjoyable part of the job was making connections
