Great Team; Low Pay
As an EA, we work with very difficult and stressful situations. The salary we get is really not worth the work we do but yet, CBE probably offers the highest wage for EAs in Calgary. After a couple of months I was burnt out and felt like I was not performing at my best which is unfair to the students so I had to take a break. Great Experience
Excellent place to be, professionally run with good work/life balance. Working hours may not be for everyone (full time is not probable), but for a part-timer it is a great fit.

Not much support
As a first year teacher, if you want mentorship or support, you will have to work hard to make it happen yourself. Teachers and admin all seem like they are stretched thin and getting close to the breaking point. But facilities are kept up okay and if you have good admin they will support you.
