Below average pay with an unprofessional work environment
Inside Sales Representative (Former Employee) – Toronto, ON – 13 February 2018
Very low paying salary, unprofessional work environment (aggressive territory rivalry between account managers, high school type of drama between employees with the added immature co-workers), swim or sink approach to sales reps, yell at your employees type of management, very high turnover ratio (1 year or less), they do have a fun casual Friday
fun casual friday
low pay, unprofessional work environment, no training
Business Development Manager (Former Employee) – Toronto – 9 January 2018
I loved working at CAD Micro. They gave me extensive training, are very professional, and they have a lot of happy customers. I was brought to numerous Solidworks conferences, met with hundreds of their amazing customers, and enjoyed working with them so much.
Applications Specialist (Former Employee) – Toronto, ON – 15 March 2017
There is no management whatsoever. It is totally a sales-driven company with no/limited importance paid to their technical staff who form the backbone of the company. Sales individuals earn considerably more than the technical individuals despite relying on technical individuals.
No technical meetings whatsoever, it is a made up term whenever someone is promoted to a "manager". "Managers" would have brilliant ideas upon assuming the post, but gets tired whenever these ideas are turned down by the owners who are somewhat people who do not practise what they preach (ironically, CAD Micro's quote is challenge the status quo)
Unnecessary multi-stage interviews (4 stages) for a position which is so low in wages (CAD40k to start)
