At Bytown Fence Inc., we are taking the COVID-19 situation very seriously, and are taking all of the necessary precautions to keep our employees and our customers safe. We are very grateful to be in an industry where the risks are not as high, and we are able to continue our work safely and efficiently. We are able to conduct our business completely paperless with electronic quotes and invoicing. We never have to be within 6 feet of our customers in order for them to buy a fence. Business exchanges are quick and easy, distanced, and our teams work in groups of 2-3 members, outside at all times, and distanced from each other. On the other hand, the materials we use to build our fences are experiencing major shortages due to COVID-19. We believe we were able to get ahead of the issue and be prepared for our clients, but we encourage customers to book their quotes sooner than later, while supplies last. We appreciate our staff and customers’ support throughout this entire experience. Bytown Fence Inc. has installed more than 10,000 fences for our neighbors in the Ottawa region since 1989. Ned Loughrey is one of the original owners of Bytown in 1989 who is still part of the business as president today. In May 2019 the company was acquired by a locally-owned investment company, Value Factor Inc. Our new owners are committed to the highest standards of integrity. We use the best equipment and materials available powered by our amazing employees and people. We intend to stand out by operating with the very bests measures of honesty. We treat our people right. We pay good wages. We care. We have relationships with other companies who employ our people indoors, same wage, in the winter. At Bytown Fence Inc., we truly care about our people.
