Good district for teaching career
Great environment, would recommend if you're a starting teacher. If would avoid the low income areas first until you've got some years under your belt to deal with classroom management problems. Definitely younger teachers and lots of cool initiatives.

Fun place to work
I worked in the Burnaby School District as a Student Teacher and found it to be more casual and a good environment with collaborative colleagues. I would recommend it.
