It was fine working there. Students where english is not their first language is the typical demographic for being a writing tutor. So its sometimes frustrating when you can't understand them and they can't understand you.

I had understanding profs who valued the hard work and were always available to help. after graduation I found a job within 2days, because what one learns at BCIT is exactly what is need at the job and interview the person for.

This a very good place to work. all instructors and staff are very polite and helpful. Learning commons team is very concise and very organized team. It's a very challenging environment to learn and tutor. I love to work there.

Two-hour shift with maximum of six hours per week Meeting a lot of students Good learning environment and very kind supervisor The hardest part is to memorize and explaining stuff that you have learn to other students effectively
