Associate Teacher (Former Employee) – Markham, ON – 17 November 2015
Bright Horizons strives on being organized and consistent with work hours in order to accommodate the number children being dropped off and picked up at the centre. Lunch and 15 minute breaks are fair and respected. Coworkers are friendly and supportive, a great team environment and fosters a safe and accepting attitude. Benefits are standard and fair. Continual training provided in order to ensure that the centre's teachers are up to date. The most enjoyable part of the day is going into work knowing that it will be, for the most part, a predictable outcome.
Teaching Assistant (Former Employee) – Mississauga, ON – 7 December 2018
Do your favour and go somewhere else. Some teachers are kind, others are rude. Most teachers are not RECE and a lot of corners are cut. If you are desperate apply here, if not go somewhere else. Extra help is not given if you have a child with special needs. Ratios aren't always folllowed. The pay is horrible, you can do minimum to get through. Teachers have to wash their own dishes don't get paid planning time or even any planning time. It's 14$ with 2$ wage funding
