Total disrespect for potential employees
Front Desk Agent (Former Employee) –  Bridgewater, NS25 December 2018
Had scheduled interview for a position. I arrived on time. Person who was to conduct interview was not in for the day. Was told to come in after 1:00 pm following day. I arrived a few minutes early . Was told person who was to interview me was not in and I would be contacted sometime that afternoon by phone. Never received and apology,
I decided no further action was required in regards to this position. If a perspective employer had such little respect for me and my time then they did not deserve my hard work and respect for punctuality that I would of provided them,
No pros
Management well.....

I wouldn’t recommend working here
Waitress (Former Employee) –  Bridgewater, NS1 August 2018
Owner was a male chauvinist.
Management was selfish and would get angry and throw temper tantrums if didn’t get her way.
Co workers were the best part of this job. Very friendly and welcoming.
No overtime or holiday pay.
No breaks for waitstaff... if you don’t smoke you will get no spare time for yourself during your shift.
When I quit after working for 2 years (I gave notice) I got a childish note written in ink on my pay check about leaving by owner.
Co workers
No breaks, Tip share for kitchen staff was excessive, no holiday pay, childish management

i was treated very unfairly
food preparer (Former Employee) –  Bridgewater, NS7 November 2015
I was hired by manager on duty and started work on prescribed day
only to be told later in the day that the "owner" wanted to try out
several more people for the job and I would hear soon if I would
be returning. The cook who had interviewed me for the position
thought I had been "hired" and spoke to me on the job as if I would
be working there permanently. However, she too was surprised
to learn that the "owner" would be trying out other candidates for
the job. The hours advertised in the job alert was for 40 hrs,
and they only offered me 30 hrs total. When no one called me
back after two days off work, I called them to inquire as to when
I could pick up a check for the work I had performed, and was
told that the mgr on duty would "get back to me". She never did
get back to me so I sent an email stating I would call the dept. of
labour if I did not receive payment for the hours I worked for them.
The next working day I got a call from another younger woman
stating I could pick up a check on "payday" which was a week away.
These people totally misrepresented EVERYTHING about the position and made themselves look very unreliable and untrustworthy.
I would never recommend anyone to work for them.
none I could see
dirty kitchen, and management is cowardly and unreliable.
