Flexible schedules, poor management, no job security or raises
Service lot attendant (Former Employee) –  Vancouver, BC20 February 2019
Very unorganized company throughout with poor communication to employees. Very little room for advancement with no yearly reviews or raises. The pay isn't nearly enough for what management expects out of you. The schedule works well for students and is quite flexible. Employees are good people and treat you well.
Pros
Flexible schedule, good people
Cons
No advancement, poor management, below average pay

Overall I was treated very fairly at Brian Jessle BMW. Great management team. I would work there again if I ever move back to Vancouver. A very customer focused group.
Pros
Great Christmas Party
Cons
Worklife balance can be a little tough - just because they are very customer focused.

Ruthless Company
Sales Manager Assistant (Former Employee) –  Vancouver, BC21 April 2018
They live up to their reputation being ruthless when it comes to sales and customers. Very high pressure environment for sales staff, what they say when they recruit and hire you is very different from reality. Expect to make flat on every single car and you will never figure out what the real pay plan is. There are no real volume bonuses. You get paid if the sales manager feels like it. Since it is an open floor, all 14 staff are always there as they are required to be. Not the best Automotive company to work for. To summarize, Ruthless, high pressure, stressfull
Pros
Good product
Cons
High Pressure, Ruthless Managers and Sales

Not the best place to work
Delivery Driver/Shipper Receiver (Current Employee) –  Burnaby, BC10 October 2017
While this is an okay place to start work out of school, there is little to no room for advancement. The salary in most positions makes it extremely tough to make ends meet. And management at best is temperamental.

amazing building, amazing products, amazing team to work with. I would've never have left if I wasn't forced to move back to Ontario. By far the best example of people coming together to make everyday exciting.

Good job Trash managment
Sales Lot Associate (Former Employee) –  Vancouver, BC3 January 2017
Management would expect too much from lot staff and for the pay, it's not worth it. Also, no employee parking made it extremely difficult and stressful to go to work every day
Cons
Bad Managment, No room for growth, long hours, sub par pay

Productive and Accomplished Dealership
Sales Lot Staff (Former Employee) –  Vancouver, BC25 August 2016
Co-workers were great. Met great people and built new networks. Always busy that was good for the company. However, management was chaotic. How managers and directors treated employees was very poorly.

Love working to a professional company that is successful, pay is good. All the co workers are good. I answer phone calls and do paper work. The clients are all really friendly

Service Lot Attendant (Former Employee) –  Vancouver, BC4 March 2015
A day at work would be to make sure that every customer vehicle will be serviced professionally and delivered on scheduled time. At Brian Jessel BMW, I've learned how much hard work and commitment it takes to operate a successful dealership. Management at this company is top-notch. Always supportive and have the capacity to understand and improve employees when mistakes are made. Co-workers are friendly, hard working, unique individuals that make it that much more worth it to work at this company. The hardest part of the position is when technical equipment malfunctioned, although we manage by working as a team. The best part about the job is the people you work with. It's almost impossible to be unproductive when you are all working together towards the same goal.
Pros
Great company events throughout the year

Short-staffed at times
