What is the best part of working at the company?People are very friendly. You can get easily along with them. What is the most stressful part about working at the company?Stress-full but productive making cakes batch of cakes. But given that this is a fast-face working environment, you’ll get used to it after sometimes.What is the work environment and culture like at the company?Very diverse!!!❤️ Different nationality are working but still understanding and respecting each & everyone. What is a typical day like for you at the company?Long lines, loud coffee machine, sounds of people chatting means the business is doing good!

Toxic workplace. Manager does not know how to train new employees. Co-workers are not helpful at all. The tasks are not that hard but the manager loves to make them complicated

Toxic work place/ So much pressure

I had the worst work experience ever. I couldn't have predicted the satisfaction of working with my head baker. I'm sure it wasn't just me who was pressured and disrespected. No work life balance. But co-workers were friendly.

Fast- paced workplace, too much expectation from managers

It is extremely high paced, high productivity required and no mistakes tolerated. you get 30 % off for food which is nice. It is extremely hectic job but you start to enjoy it after some time.

Friendly staff but depends on which department you go

Fast-paced environment. Little bit dangerous because not all the staff have food safe level and some not aware of running in the kitchen or telling they’re behind you. Even sometimes never knock freezer when coming out.Some will be generous to new staff but some are not. Very strict always watching on camera. No phones allowed for safety issue. Depends on your manager pay raise are very low, some are generous.Don’t have learning step or manual for that.

Hard work nice co-workers

Multicultural team that makes an interesting environment to learn and have fun. The job is hard, long hours standing up, fast pace, difficult schedules starting early in the morning and finishing late at night, some customers are complicated people. Depending on the location the management can be heaven or totally the opposite. General management not good.You can have lots of fun with your coworkers if they are nice, and you can have free drinks.

Tips were great until it wasn’t

Tips were nice during covid but after everywhere re opened they hired proper staff amount and tips dropped from $600-800 take home per check to like $150. Still technically did the same amount of work because as we got more busy we hired more. But we had loss our tips. It used to be good. Then it was barely anything.

Fast-Paced environment

This is a typical hospitality job with endless customers. It is open 24/7 so you are always going to have shifts. There is no fixed schedule so you can never have a routine.The best part of the job are the co-workers.

Revolving door of employees. Red flags all over the place

Front of House Staff (Former Employee) - Vancouver, BC - 1 March 2022

I worked here for a few short months, I usually can last a very long time at establishments I work at but this one took the cake. Everyone was miserable from day one when I started working there. I had supervisors even ask me why I was working there and not getting a better job easily. That was red flag number one. They under pay staff and the night shift workers were often talked down too by management even though they worked the worst shift. The tips for being a front of house worker were the smallest I’ve ever seen. At the location I worked at we had a severe fly problem, had people complain to us on the daily and management did little to nothing to help us with the problem. Not only was it a bad atmosphere to work in, if you call in sick or have a family emergency management will guilt you and ask you to find cover for your own shifts (a coworker of mine presented covid symptoms and was made to feel guilty and come into work putting us all at risk) hands down I would think twice about accepting a job offer here. This place put a toll on a lot of employees mental health.
