Not the best place to work.
Safety watch (Former Employee) - Red Deer, AB - 14 December 2022
More like a starter company if you want to get your foot in the door to safety. Not a long term employer. Managers don't care about you. Your just a number.
Pros
Meet new people
Cons
Long hours. Work away from home.

It’s not bad
Rapid Tester (Former Employee) - Fort McMurray, AB - 23 June 2022
Could be worse, could be better. I think the medics are a little under paid in comparison to other places but it’s calm, nice management, people that you work with are nice

Work here if you do not have an option
Safety Watch (Former Employee) - Red Deer, AB - 26 May 2022
You will regret your decision to get onboard. They feel you are less privileged if you choose to work with them. I am sure they feel even a dog can do the job.
Pros
you are employed lol
Cons
All you can think of

Don't bother
Safety Watch (Current Employee) - Red Deer, AB - 17 May 2022
They will use you for a couple months with no opportunity of advancement. Always short handed and they will over work you with no thanks or consideration of a pay raise

No room to improve, just a number in coveralls.
Industrial Safety Watch (Former Employee) - Red Deer, AB - 28 December 2021
It was an okay temporary job to get into the oilfield and see other trades but all they care about is filling spots so they can make money regardless of skill or competency
Pros
Will hire anyone with a heart beat.
Cons
Demanding of your time or management will put you at the bottom of the work list, They pay new employees more than their senior staff members who keep face and maintain contracts, Don't pay for tickets, no nightshift premium.

Management is Clueless
HSE Advisor (Former Employee) - Red Deer, AB - 7 September 2021
This comprises a greedy lot of empire builders. If you don’t tow the party line your gone. Management is lost when it comes to the field and don’t keep in touch enough. The experienced people here are good industry professionals, the new hires are just warm bodies waiting to get hurt. The billing is an example of corporate greed. If I had the money I would buy this outfit and fire every manager and rebuild with professionals.
Pros
Few
Cons
Many

Incompetent workforce
Safety Watch (Former Employee) - Edmonton, AB - 25 June 2021
Laziest coworkers I've had in a long time. Only way to advance is to brown nose. I had a lead tell me to monitor the air outside of the confined space with the gas monitor instead of inside the confined space before workers entered. I've been in safety for many years and knew this was wrong and just laughed . They will hire anyone and put the competent people in the field while the rest sit inside a trailer to get paid. I've also witnessed them providing air for trades inside a confined space only for the air to get cut off. They've put many trades at risk. The payroll department seems like they failed basic math. If you get laid off doo not expect your ROE for at least two weeks if not more.
Pros
Lots of hours
Cons
Bad management

Set up to fail
FIELD TECHNICIAN/SAFETY WATCH (Former Employee) - Red Deer, AB - 22 March 2021
Training in areas was excellent, but company policy and procedures need work. Moral very poor no one seemed to want to be there other than management. Expectations huge for the pay. Some attitudes towards new employees shows internal strife and lack of leadership.
Pros
Detailed training hands on
Cons
Poor pay
