disconnect between content creators and management
Associate Educator, Data Science (Former Employee) –  Toronto, ON15 September 2018
- lots and lots of micro-management coming from people who know very little about the subject matter of the courses they were managing
- low pay; the instructors of these courses are cream of the crop in their respective fields, they should be compensated as such

Part-Time Instructor
Co-Lead Educator (Current Employee) –  Toronto, ON21 March 2018
I enjoy working at BrainStation as a part time instructor. The facility is beautiful and the content is engaging and fun to teach. I can't speak for being a full-time staff member, but they do treat their instructors well.
Pros
Fun gig
Cons
coordination can be a bit disorganized.
