Team really is like a family. Management can sometimes make that difficult by changing team members. Turnover is relatively high in some departments. No loyalty or seniority to persons who have served diligently for long periods of time.
Excellent benefits and vacation accrual but not applied fairly or transparently to all staff members.Can't beat the wage in the public not-for-profit sector of child care.
Clientele are hardest part of the job. You will literally have chairs thrown at you by the children, and maybe the parents.
