Meh workplace
Awful pay for sometimes the amount of work you’d have to do.. didn’t really take advantage of someone who has experience and never really given the chance to advance

Good management
Management was good, understood when I had to write exams and always got paid on time, even with tips, well run restaurant with friendly co-workers and friendly management. Would work here again 10/10

Bad management
The managers in Pickering and Markham near the highway are TERRIBLE. Markham one seems so stressed and has no idea what his doing and the one in Pickering is kind of cool but still terrible manager. No organization. Just bad management team.

The new owner has gouged employee pay and gives about 5-10 hours a week, they also expect you to run 5 stations with 2 people during the pandemic, staff was nice and general manager is great but the owner and his salaried staff are terrible and do not care about their staff not worth your time to work here

Boston Pizza was my Fav
It really comes down to the ownership and management. Each location is individually owned and operated, as much as there is corporate standards, it really comes down to the ownership and management to implement, enforce and monitor standards as well as to want to make necessary changes.Boston Pizza is a great company but the Newmarket location is run very poorly by owners who are unwilling to make necessary changes. The core brand standards at the Newmarket location are non-existent. Unprofessional doesn’t even begin to describe the Newmarket location.
