The amount of times I’ve seen the Executive Assistant posting along with office manager and administration and reception over the past months, weeks and days is ridiculous. I’ve seen that same posting, posted and re worded and posted again. Listen if you don’t know what you’re hiring for or not ready do not waste your interviewees time but calling them in and not giving any sort of time line or call back. How the process was; I couldn’t even imagine what it would like to be working for such a company... imagine how hard it must be to ask for a raise or even a day off. Wow bad interview culture all around. Change your process, us candidates are watching, and you look bad.
Pros
Nothing
Cons
Bad HR culture.

Fast paced company, not as nimble as a start up but not to big where your work doesn't go noticedStrong talent/employees, have learned a lot from the people the have joined the company and built some really good friendshipsSmart CEO who regularly shares his vision, everyone respects him and you can see why the company is growing the way that isPeople are not restricted to their roles and often time you can see people step up and do more than you would think, this helps with transitioning and allows people to identify interests in other areasI would recommend working at Book4Time in a heartbeat, people really enjoy it here and if you are lucky enough to join the company you would see why!
Pros
Free snack/lunches, indoor parking, vacation, RRSP matching, informal/casual environment
Cons
Not a 9-5, high expectations when tight deadlines are present

They are hiring and firing people frequently. The interview was on video conference. Very short and totally unprofessional, asking basic questions without any idea. This company is not from Canada.....

Depending on your position, you may be required to do a presentation for your interview. Some weeks it was slow, others it was busy near end of the month (in Finance team). Invoicing functions were a bit manual, could be improved with different software. There has been expansion in the company, the spa software is quite intensive, and showcases why enterprise level hotels/spas use it.

Meh. Small organization, very set in their ways. Constant talk about new growth, but nothing seems to change internally. Sense of hierarchy is strong - either you've worked there for 8 years or 2 months - there is no in between. High turnaround in every single department. No sense of community. Pay is average - nothing great. Do not recommend. Culture is very closed off. All old people stuck in their ways. All new people don't know how to fit in. Snacks are ok.
Pros
Snacks
Cons
Leaders make all decisions no trust in teams efforts.

A typical day at work includes working with awesome people, being surrounded by knowledgeable co-workers always willing to help and welcomed into a great and fun job culture. It's a fast-growing company and you have to keep up with growth. Not for you if you are looking for a typical 9-5 where you do the exact same thing every day, or if you don't really know what you want to do.
Pros
The people, Culture, Benefits (it could be better), Indoors parking comes handy, The new office is a big upgrade (looking forward to the spa in the office), The snacks in the morning are starting to look like breakfast, They are always looking for ways to improve and keep employees happy, The communication and teamwork is remarkable
Cons
You don't see much opportunity for upward advancement, Most of the times, instead of promoting capable employees, they hire new people for leadership roles, No incentives, People stay more than a couple of years because they like the company or the job, but not for growth or a big jump on their paycheck

Working at Book4time can be good....if you can integrate within their culture. Very open work environment which can be either bad or good; depending on how you look at it and how you like to work.
Pros
Free snacks, lots of "team building" activities, opportunity for some travel, decent training
Cons
Very cliquey corporate culture that can be quite toxic. Very high turnover.

This is a young company and it is very much into technology. To work and survive in this environment you must be computer literate. This can be a stressful environment because everything has a deadline.
