o Team leader's assistant (Former Employee) –  Valcourt, QC24 February 2020
It was a very nice job but seasonal. I’ve learned how snowmobiles are made and how to manage a team on an assembly line. I like it very much! They wanted me to stay but I was moving in BC.

Quality Inspector (Former Employee) –  Toronto, ON22 February 2020
Lack of professionalism especially among management, no co-ordination, lack of direction for overall progress. Higher management oblivious to floor level requirement. Talent and loyalty is wasted here

Underpaid and no opportunity for advancement
Methods Engineer/Project Manager (Former Employee) –  Toronto, ON21 February 2020
The expectation is to work unreasonably long hours without additional pay (unless you’re part of a union); no opportunity for advancement and compensation is well below market average in the area - do not recommend.

IT Procurement Specialist (Current Employee) –  Montréal, QC17 February 2020
Bombardier is a good place to be in. My team is welcoming and supportive. The challenge is the loss of knowledge and the lack of KT. I find that a huge handicap as new names and role changes are always there.

Project Manager/PMO (Current Employee) –  Toronto, ON12 February 2020
Every year, in the end, there are e a lot of planned layoffs, but it's coming bigger and bigger. Now due to debt and fail rail projects the company is going bankrupt.

Fast paced.
Line Manager (Former Employee) –  Toronto, ON10 February 2020
Work days are fast paced and can extend to long hours to complete the assignments.
Lots to learn but feel too many levels of management that leads to loss of direction and communication.
Great benefits and opportunities to learn and grow but are drowned out by too many levels of management with accountability running thin.

Independent Consultant (Current Employee) –  Montréal, QC7 February 2020
competetive and very interesting. Good place to make a change and be part of something bigger.
Many projects in hand if you can and will make a difference. Complicated inhouse process but nothing an experienced consultant cannot handle.

Aircraft Mechanic (Current Employee) –  Toronto, ON7 February 2020
Love working here, but sadly it is being mismanaged into the ground by the higher ups. Relaxed atmosphere and lots of overtime for those who want it. Hopefully they keep work in Toronto.

Finisher "Mechanical/Electrical" (Former Employee) –  Thunder Bay, ON5 February 2020
Keep in mind this type of environment is based on contractual work, you could have work for 2 to 10 plus years. Overall its an amazing place to work at, team player environment, where fellow workers become your second family, where safety is number one first and foremost. If you love to be active daily, are not afraid to learn something new every day, it can be repetative work but it's up to you to want to learn more. I've worked various jobs through out my life, most felt mundane but I felt accomplished in my day to day tasks

QUALITY ASSURANCE - MECHANICAL INSPECTOR (Former Employee) –  Thunder Bay, ON4 February 2020
Good work place. Union environment. Would be great if not for slowing of contracts. I would not recommend applying here in the foreseeable future, due to job longevity.
