Work-life Balance

Part of Production Team in Saskatoon, SK

Bold Growth Inc should create a conducive workplace for staff retention and decrease the turn over of employees. They don't care about you.
Typical day is very stressful. I learned nothing. The management does not know what they want. They have no direction. Changing things too frequent. Workplace is sometimes intense. The hardest part of the job is management not knowing the right direction, putting staff in the dark and imposing their wishes on the staff. The turn over of staff is way too high because no one is willing to stay or they are fired for actively looking for job elsewhere. Meeting some really good co-staff was enjoyable and kept me going to work.

Would never recommend this job
I worked at Bold Growth for under a month. I simply could not handle it anymore. The days are very long, and very fast paced however, don’t expect to get any sort of formal training especially if you have little to no experience. Their was an incident where I had with another coworker who did not follow protocol and my health was at risk because of it. Thankfully, management told said coworker about my complaint (due to me having to go home because of incident) and I got chewed out by the coworker. On top of that, every single employee knew about the incident and pestered me about it. The environment there seems like everyone hates their jobs. It was just a place I knew right away would not be the right fit for me.

Horrible place to work
Management is horrible, if you have any concerns about your health and well-being definitely don’t bring it up with HR or your manager because they don’t care. All they care about is making a quick dollar. They like to make it seem like everyone is “family” on their social media but in reality they treat the labour staff like garbage. You are better off working at a fast food restaurant then here

Management will cause Inevitable Recalls
An absolute mess and downright dangerous for staff. This is the most stereotypical nightmare of a company that so many people have the misfortune of experiencing due to an embarrassingly high laborer turnover. You better stay quiet, don't get sick and most of all, never ever express any concerns to HR. The millisecond you bring up a problem, even if it's an OHS concern or potential federal regulation violation , you will be the subject of gossip around the Friday afternoon happy hour. Stay away from this place. Do not support their business. All marketing and claims are an absolute sham. This is one of those corporations that tries to hold a good public reputation while exploiting the workers who are doing their absolute best and get nothing but anxiety and trauma in return.

Please don't get sucked into this place
If you are young and excited about a job in cannabis please steer clear of this place. It is soul sucking. The company is not passionate about cannabis or the cannabis community and their product is embbarassing to Canadian cannabis. They treat their employees terribly (gossip, low wages, no advancement, no learning opportunities, no overtime pay, poor benefits, the list goes on). Find literally any other job and company in literally any other sector and never step foot in this place.
