Good benefits but salary not enough to compensate your hard work, CSR’s are always blaming the Maintenance for all their lapses to make Rent.

Indeed featured review

This company was good in benefits but the salary are not enough to compensate your hard work. No job security when you’re not close to your CSR’s and Leaders. On-calls are too much because there are some Maintenance not doing Preventative Maintenance Works during working hours, because they are busy and pressure on Suite Turn-over. Lots of move- out and move-in because of transferring the Tenant to Other Unit. Lots of Maintenance Associates are quitting because are not fair treatment between theirs Small Capital Projects Associates are not working hard. Hopefully will be improve this Company Management and Communication well.

Pros

Free lunches sometimes

Cons

On-calls too much and CSR’s making lie reports

Unless you have zero disire to go anywhere in life

It's a constant pressure to produce and if you are good, it will never be good enough . Definitely an advantage if you know other languages, as English is not the main language spoken. Don't try to be innovative, the people above you may think your smart and then gaslight you. Overall on paper it seemed like a great job , just very hard to become part of the team, and culture

Pros

Many washrooms to use

Cons

You work and boardwalk

Neither great or horrible

A typical day involved maintaining residential apartments in a variety of different applications. Some electrical, some plumbing, drywall repair and painting and other duties as the situation dictated.

Poor management

Sites managers ( they call them “leaders”) don’t know anything about renovations and maintenance and they try to teach you how to do your work. Unrealistic deadlines for most of work, quality of work is absolutely a shame and they don’t care about that at all. If you are profesional and respect yourself and your work this place is not for you. Pay is good but you have to deal with a lot of nonsense every day.

Good place for managment

Average company, good for management, and not so good for maintenance associates. Step by step management ask more and more from associates.

Check your pay statements closely!

I was warned about accounting missing hours and overtime when i started and boy were they right. You can excuse the odd mistake but it became obvious that there was a little bit more to it than that. Boardwalk overworks their maintenance people to the breaking point.

Pros

Great people to work with

Cons

Over worked, Poor Wages

Excellent Employer/Employee trust environment

Many opportunities to challenge mechanical aptitude under minimal supervision Customer base is also a key development area for self advancement Management promoted from within is encouraged Found TEAM communication/support exists well across the city Deadline control can be difficult when turnover is heavy Company social program as well as benefit package is admirable

Pros

Personal department managing is excellent (freedom to move)

Cons

Oncall responsibilities can be taxing
