They sell you a dream during training, and then unleash you in ''the real world'', where you're expected to always give 110% for a company who could replace you tomorrow if you left. Also lots of problems with short and long term disability as the insurance company does not think of depression as enough reason to spend time off. Love yourself and do not apply there

BMO is a good company that offers opportunities for growth. Call centre work is not for everyone, it is mentally draining. Job overall is not a hard one, if you don’t mind taking callings all day long and going through lots of processes to be in compliant.

It was a good job coming in with very little experience. The environment is fast pace with lots of work to do. Schedule was flexible for my needs as I was a part time student at the time.

Would not recommend working here. Profits are before their people, however they misguide you in the beginning. The company over works high achievers and simply runs them ragged. Very sad to see good people stressed out without the resources to help them. The company’s only concern is making money money money.

Work is fundamentally helping clients and sales. You encounter all kinds of situations and can learn a lot about banking/finance but also legal frameworks and business. Frustration arises when dealing with inadequate technology or internal, organizational friction.

The teams at the branch level are extraordinary. It really feels like a family. The company does a good job at engaging staff and even supports things like intramural sports leagues.

They're constantly talking about how to treat clients, and how it's all about the clients. But all they care about is sales and targets. If you do not reach your targets, or their demands, you will be disciplined or sent to do learning. Micro-managing is huge.

Its nothing out of the ordinary, it’s a bank job. You make sales and help customers. You have to be able to count cash and communicate. They hire within very often so it’s easy to move up but you’re expected to work most than 40 hours a week at most branches and there is no overtime for salaried employees.

Parlons des points positifs :C'est une entreprise très axée sur le service a la clientèle et ils ont a cœur le bien être des clients. Salaire stable avec bonus intéressant. Parlons des points moins plaisants :Salaire sous le marché.Il y avait du harcèlement au travail qui n'a pas été pris en charge. Même 2 ans après avoir quitté à cause de cela, j'ai eut plusieurs échos que le "blabla" continuait et ce, avec plusieurs autres personnes dans le domaine. Les employés partent tous en maladies, brûlés, ce qui fait que les autres employés restants (c'est a dire très peu) se ramassent avec une charge de travail excessive. Affectant ainsi les clients et le restant de l'équipe.Aucune délégation aux employés pour faire passer ou non des prêts, processus lourds car doit toujours faire valider par un centre externe.Peu de formation pratique.Peu d'opportunités professionnelles et les patrons ne sont pas ouverts à vous outiller afin de se développer dans l'entreprise ni même pour être meilleur et plus efficace dans le présent emploi. Système informatique très instable. En quittant, la vice présidente régionale m'a répondu que je ne trouverai jamais mieux ailleurs...

En général, si je devais choisir un employeur dans le secteur bancaire, je choisirais encore BMO. C’est un bon employeur et jusque-là j’ai eu affaire à des managers extraordinaires. Cependant, pour travailler dans le service client, il faut être prêt à subir le stress qui vient avec, avoir la force de caractère et avoir beaucoup d’énergie positive pour faire face aux énergies négatives que vous ne manquerez pas de recevoir pratiquement quotidiennement.

Worked for bro in there call Center , my first real job, worked there in call Center , nice environment ,people we’re nice to time at first, all sales and commissions . It’s a bank. I was there for 5 years . You do an online assessment then will get a phone interview . Dress business like for interview !

I enjoyed my role at BMO. The team I worked with in Cranbrook were supportive and helpful. When ever I needed guidance it was available. The in store team was experienced and friendly. The branch manager cares about her people and makes every effort to help them be successful.

Une journée de travail à BMO à été très agréable et enrichissant.Bonne communication et un bon travaille d’équipeLa direction est très exigeante Diversité agréable bonne endroit pour le travailL’aspect le plus difficile de mon poste ( toute a été transféré au Inde pour le travail, il nous restait seulement que le travail final à expédier )La communication avec les collègues

the working environment was always pleaseant. a typical day would include high work output and basic training for new projects. Covid 19 disrupted most of the institutes' daily process.

I was at BMO for ~4 years. It was one of the worst experiences in my life. Cannot trust anything management tells you and if you are looking for a promotion or advancement, make sure you get it in writing otherwise they will find a way to screw you. I would not wish my worst enemy to work here.
