Stop treating employees as nothing more than resources. Start paying a living wage to start. Engage your employees directly, and ask the people who are on the front lines, not their managers, what the issues are and how to fix them. Learn the meaning of "scope creep", and how it WILL make your employees bitter and burned out almost as fast as incompetent management will.

Replace most of your management teams.
