The working hours are completely random and unexpected. You are given your schedule late Friday night. This makes it hard to plan for the week ahead. However, in the interview, you are told that the hours are not guaranteed and that they cannot promise you a set number of hours. If you have another job, it makes it challenging. This is ideal for someone who wants to work limited or reduced hours a week.
What would you suggest Blaze Marketing management do to prevent others from leaving?
Have respect towards co-workers/employees.
Increase the pay.
Deal with your racist, sexist, disrespectful,patronizing,ill-mannered co-workers on both heads of Blaze and Sobeys.
The most stressful part of this job is that you never know what is going on. The communication is terrible. It also is hard if you have no previous experience in retail or merchandising. You are at the mercy of the person working with you or training you. A lot of times, people don't show up. If that happens and you can't do a grocery section alone, you have to leave. You will not be paid for your time. It is stressful because there is no support from the people running the company.
For the Grocery Merchandiser job position you state " Handling heavy loads, " so please define how heavy this load is that you must lift in pounds or kilograms.
Hi at Blaze you are required to lift 30lbs. The job requires you to move and adjust shelves and move products that can be bulky and heavy.
