Lots of changes

Hard to keep up with changes all the time, some staff hard to work with. Lots of shifts and work to do it’s an old building that needs lots of repairs all the time

Not a place to succeed

Short staffed, or staffed with new grads that are inexperienced and unsafe. Management does not engage with staff or residents. The home does not have a generator or central air, the power goes off frequently leaving everyone in the dark and either cold or hot, depending on the season. There is not enough linen or supplies. Old building

Quite an old building. On first impression it gives off the vibe of someplace that won't be around for much longer. Constantly short staffed. Residents can be demanding. Coworkers ok in general, just not enough of them to make the shift run smooth.

traumatizing

Management was extremely unorganized, patients were neglected and totally disregarded. Most co-workers were extremely nice but there were enough that weren't to make days harder than they needed to be. The best part of the job was the residents and getting to know them but it was hard to go home in tears every day.
