Don't work here
Customer Service Representative (Former Employee) –  London, ON12 May 2018
This place is horrible to work at. Since the minimum wage has gone up to $14.00 they have cut out paid breaks and made it impossible to get ahead. We use to get paid for 37.5 hours a week and had the chance at overtime but since the beginning of the year we had our hours cut and they don't care. They moved you around all the time and did not let you learn the program you had to work with and gave you no assistance. The training is lousy and you are responsible for taking care of your self. They say you can ask for help but as soon as you do you are called on it and they discipline the person who was helping you. They let you go out of the blue with out any warning or notice.and pay you off with one weeks pay and fat nothing to show for it.
Pros
Paid training which consists of you sitting in a room doing nothing.
Cons
Asking when you can't work then scheduling you for that time, firing any one who is having a problem, that should have been taken care of with proper training. You don't get that here.

Decent place to work, too repetitive for me.
Agent (Former Employee) –  London, ON18 April 2018
As title says, management is okay at best, all around mediocre job. Also they have been slashing incentives and do not pay for breaks anymore; have not been the first to leave from my training class.

Great People But Not For Me
Roadside Assistance Phone Operator (Former Employee) –  London, ON14 April 2018
I left for personal reasons but not one of them was the people there. Coworkers were awesome and my coach was wonderful. Just not the type of job for me as it can be fairly repetitive.

They have a great social committee and community there.
Pros
great people, good support
Cons
repetitive, very fast paced most days, unpredictable schedule

Customer Service Representative (Former Employee) –  London, ON28 March 2018
Management was terrible, I was fired and they did not pay me my severence. I hope they get written up. Management was always talking about the employees, while the employees were in the area. Worse workplace ever.

COLLECTION AGENT (Current Employee) –  Newmarket, ON17 March 2018
A typical day at work involved sitting at a desk for 8 hours or more speaking with customers who are past due on their credit cards and making payment arrangements. The work place culture involved a lot of drama. The hardest part of the job is having to endure the many people who will swear at you and yell at you, or hang up on you. The most enjoyable part of the job is the praise you get when you collect large payments.
Pros
language premium
Cons
Commission was taken away

Bonuses/Benefits greatly exaggerated. Job security is nil (apparently)
Outbound Sales Consultant (Former Employee) –  London, ON7 March 2018
Pseudo Supportive work culture. It is all about Meeting Targets and nothing else. The company does not care about its employees at all.

The claims for "Commissions" and "Bonuses" based on good performance are massive but subject to unrealistic expectations and therefore rare.

Even people who are 20-30% over target did not receive bonuses.
Attendance figures mysteriously shifted from 100% to 67% because the employee was 2-3 minutes late twice in a month.

Job Security Negligible since they hired most new employees within the 3 month 'probation period' with a refusal to provide any reason whatsoever (which is a condition in the hiring contract)

Would not recommend unless you have no other job prospect.

Roadside Assistance Dispatcher (Former Employee) –  London, ON25 February 2018
All the employees that work at the London office are very nice, personable and willing to help. The job can be challenging, because the customers are in stressful situations and aren't always calm or easy to deal with. Being hired part time also allows the company to cut your hours down if they don't require many people managing the queue; you're also not eligible for benefits as a part time hire either. Office is open 24/7 so its good for people who already have one part time job or are enrolled in school and have classes. Work Force Management is very understanding and work to schedule students and parents' shifts around their exams and children.

Nice co-workers

inconsistant hours

If you ever want to know what it feels like to be ignored, come here!
Former Employee (Dispatcher) (Former Employee) –  London, ON15 February 2018
If you are looking for call center experience, you have to start somewhere... That said, get it, and run! It's a job for dispatching emergency roadside assistance throughout North America. A typical day of work is fairly easy, I got good at it; albeit through trial and error. (Thrown to the wolves if you will.) If you had a call however that even the best agent would take them quite the length to dispatch come in at the last minute of your shift, you had to finish it. The program they use would also freeze sometimes whilst logging out thus placing you on another call you were forced to finish. So that 8 hour shift you had, is now a 10 hour shift. You got kids at home? School work to do? A LIFE! Forget about it!

I think this company has some serious revamping to do, there's a reason their score on here is so low, and their retention rate; mind you only speculation cannot be very good. There's no consideration for schedule, you had Saturday off? We changed the schedule two days ago, you work Saturday now. If you want to sustain employees and build a healthy work environment you have to do a complete overhaul of your processes. They take on new contracts with different companies whilst their workers are dropping off consistently because they're not adequately trained and completely overwhelmed. If you want employees to show empathy and care about their customers and their job, you must return the favor.

Now on a positive note, the people there for the most part (aside from the upper management of whom completely lack in the empathy department.) are great. Then again, I'm
more... sure suffering with friends is better than suffering alone. That would be the most enjoyable part, exchanging your stories of misery and agony with hindsight laughing.  less
Pros
I learned a lot of the capitals and cities in certain states

Lack of empathy for employees

Cannot say much for Full time, but my Part-time experience has been great, except for the upset customers - which I understand. Floor support, WFM, HR... everyone were warm towards me and treated me with respect.

Customer Service Representative (Current Employee) –  London5 January 2018
Want a throwback to highschool? Apply here. Workers are immature no matter their age. They gossip and spread false rumors. If your a good worker they feel threatened and make up anything to ruin your reputation. Most of management (anyone that doesn't work on the floor) works like a clique and talk down to floor staff. If you want to move up you have to kiss a**
