What I have learned at Bikini Village is how to interact with customers everyday comfortably, as well achieving the daily sales objective. I learnt how to do cash transactions, as well as returns and exchanges. I have learnt how to act as manager while the manager is absent, as well as opening and closing the store. Selling swimsuits to customers is not always the easiest thing to do because it is sensitive to some, so you have to make sure they have a positive experience and try and get them out of that negative mindset. The most enjoyable part of the job is when someone finds a swimsuit that they are comfortable in and they actually like it. I the hardest part about the job is when someone comes in with a negative mindset, changing around their mindset is not necessarily the easiest thing to do.
