8 questions about working at Best Buy
They do not give you constant fixed hours. The managers are horrible and only thinks about themselves. They add immense amount of hours to kill you during vip sales

No less than a 4 hour shift once a week. Better availability means more work hours usually. FT you worked 40 hours. Managers you usually worked on days off, called in to cover for another manager's shift or stuff they needed you to do at home even though its a day off for you
Answered 20 December 2018
Mostly set, especially if you are FT. Schedules are posted about two weeks in advance and need three weeks for scheduled time off. If you don't have a good availability though, expect less hours or less days scheduled

Working hours are flexible for most positions (almost all part-time roles, full-time in-store roles you have some flexibility but still you have to work during the open hours and 8 hours a day) and it is fixed for some others (Field Agents, etc.). Working on weekends (at least one of them) is almost mandatory for full-time employees and holidays are not off as well (this is retail, you have to expect even serious overtime during holidays).
