Depends on when you apply. IF you apply during National Hiring Day's, you will likely get a phone call or Teams meeting and then be brought in for an in person interview. Other times to apply would before Christmas (Oct or Nov area. Be ready to potentially be offered permanent position or look for other employment) or around Back to School (June-July), as both times are high income terms where they need people.

If you manage to get hired in the seasonal time, you're guaranteed to be fired after it's done. Unless you have some kind of connections with the supervisors or managers.

Depends on what time of the season you're being hired. Winter holiday I believe is a more direct and quicker process.

Anything that is not sales. It’s supposed to be merchandising and receiving but product process is the go-to “fix it when it’s broken” and “drop what you are doing and do this instead” role.
