Good job while in school
Worked there throughout high school and a bit after. Part time is great but once I went over to full time it became quite a chore. The people are the reason I stayed so long, met a lot of great coworkers. Customers can be really difficult to deal with. Management is iffy, a bit pushy and there’s a lot of pressure to keep your numbers up. Vendeur/Conseiller in Anjou, QC

Shifts get very boring very quickly
If you are an active person, you'll get really bored. It's very samey everyday. There's not much new learning. You get the hang of it for the first 1 or 2 months, then it's very routine. The managers are super chill and the coworkers are literally the best.Operations Assistant in Kanata, ON

Not my favourite place to work
Best Buy is not the worst company to work for, there are many benefits to working there. I haven't worked there in a couple years now so who knows what it is like now. Management has high turnover and the sales pressure was intense. I hated how the Christmas season was tainted by having to work Boxing Day and all the Christmas madness that happens there for month before and after. I made many good friends there. I gained A LOT of experience there in various roles that has helped me obtain new employment.Associée aux ventes in Laval, QC

Good high school part time job. Not a career job.
Only good thing about working here is the people you work with (managers and employees). Other than that, its a corporation that only cares about money more than its people. You're treated like a commision salesperson, minus the commission! For minimum wage, the workload is ridiculously high. Lots of unsafe practices are encouraged in order to close sales. Product knowledge training is done on your own time and not company time. What would you say about your employer?
