Fair, i wouldn't make a career out of it

Being part time and only being paid $14.25, yet I was the only one fully trained in the department, to the point where I had to train coworkers, seniors, and a supervisor... I took on more work than required, not all by choice, yet I got paid so little and had to put in so much work... Coworkers that weren't fully trained were making more than me and I had to take phone calls from them on my days off asking for help. It was unfair and hard to mentally handle.

They do not give you constant fixed hours. The managers are horrible and only thinks about themselves. They add immense amount of hours to kill you during vip sales

It all depends on how the business is, if they are trying to save payroll, you’ll get less than 30 hours a week for a full timer and if they need you, they’ll schedule you more than 40 hours, even if it is out of your availability . Benefits are all pretty decent under Alberta law.
