I would listen to my employees. District managers need to show some sense of humanity and not be robots. Managers need to stop gossiping amongst one another and help their own staff more effectively. Team building excersises, proper training program implemented. My old manager would train staff on HOW TO CLEAN the store where as I would train on PRODUCT KNOWLEDGE, CUSTOMER SERVICE, PROBLEM SOLVING. This is what this company lacks.
If I was in charge at Bentley Leathers, I would improve the store floor and organize it in a better way. I would organize them into categories that would help the customers what they are looking for in a shorter amount of time.
