The Deburring Section has issue because of one person. She thinks she is in charge when she is not. She is always arguing with people about the workmanship of the parts when it is not her job to. She complains about other peoples' work when she doesn't do a good job herself. Other than that, it was a good place to fine tune your skills as CNC Operator. You can pick up detail information about the parts under good trainer.

RElax but fast pace place.

Some people can be rough at times.

BMP has a team that works collaboratively to make them one of the best custom machine shops in North America. Owners are self-motivated and it passed on to employees through the organization's values. Overall a positive work experience and this is appreciated by ownership regularly.

Great work, egotistical and very poor management

Obviously a lot of the reviews were written by management themself. As a former employee for many years, it was a great place to work when the father owned and ran it. But when he retired...his son's took over and turned it into a dumpster. The sons prance around like they're better than everybody else, and treat their employees like s***.

Good place to begin

Like most places it has it’s bad and good. BMP is a great place for a entry level position. Being a small company though, there isn’t much room to move up. Most of employees there are awesome to work with. You have a few that aren’t so great. But it’s very few. Most of management are pretty great too. Most, not all. The cons, you don’t get trained very well, so if you can’t figure things out for yourself or ask questions you’re left in the dark. Mostly because no one knows what the other person does and there’s a lack of organization in the company. Some of the managers lack compassion and understanding for certain issues, having said that, they are pretty good when it comes to matters concerning children and being sick and appointments. Also there is favoritism there among them, which is unfortunate for the people who aren’t in that category. But as I said. There’s good and bad. And it’s a great place to get your foot in the door when you’re starting your career. And great people to work with.

The best place to work

Very clean and well maintained work areas, co-workers are friendly and helpful, good management. Lot of overtime available, Good benefits (Goodlife membership, eye glasses, employee share purchase plan, etc…)

BMP is the ultimate place to work every aspect of working there has been an amazing experience. People are friendly, courteous, and well educated. Management is superb and understanding of employees needs and making the work environment enticing and educational. BMP is in the forefront of manufacturing technology and has a great deal of knowledge to learn from. It is far from boring or mundane it’s place that your actually happy to go to work for and it doesn’t even feel like work at all because there is some many aspect of manufacturing you can develop your skills from it’s never a dull day. Especially all the different characters that work there. Best place hands down, pay is good, hours are good, work stability is good and over time possible if you need that extra money !!

Ben Machine Products provides a clean work environment which helps instill a sense of productivity and maintain a positive atmosphere. There are workers of many ethnicities at BMP all of whom work together effectively and amiably. The company also strives to adapt itself to the ever changing technologies in relation to CNC machining.

BMP provides its workers with clean workspaces that help instill a positive mood and maintain a productive atmosphere. The management is stellar and provides incredible opportunities for growth and advancement. BMP has a very vibrant culture with workers of many ethnicities, all of whom work together cohesively and amiably. The company also keeps in mind the mental wellbeing of its workers and often hosts lunches which are very enjoyable.

7am to 4:30pm work shift. you could start at 8am if you like. you can come in on saturday if you like 7am to 12pm. lots of overtime available. good people to work with. not alot of growth

favourism culture

Family-own like company. The favouritism is the company culture. The worker wage / salary is a secret. And the starting wage is lower than a lots of the automotive companies. No shift work premium or safety shoes covered. The benefits are ashamed to mention.
