Good culture, good support and growth focused options for those willing to work for them

Featured review

Bell selected this as a representative review
I began working as a Brand Ambassador for Bell through a Marketing Agency and quickly established great relationships with many managers at Bell. Upon joining Bell I was able to grow rapidly and take over a position at 2 of the best preforming stores in the country Eaton Center and York Dale Mall. There I was able to advance my level of income year over year as I quickly and constantly improved my customer relation-building and sales abilities. I had a great support system from Regional Managers as well as Directors and was able to constantly diversify my skillset and build stronger relationships across multiple regions and take on multiple roles which I much enjoyed. It was a very dynamic role and I got paid well enough for it and those who were committed could earn a 6 figure salary with commission, paid vacations, stock and RRSP contribution matching as well as benefits.

Pros

Commission + Base Pay

Cons

Commission could have been better, Sales people can be difficult to work with if you yourself are not aggressive

Not a bad part time job for students.

There is a constant carousel of middle management so the goal posts are always moving. Makes it almost impossible to move up or around. Management has no interest in helping reps succeed.

Pros

The ability to work part time.

Cons

Poor culture.

Flexible, stressfull, boring

Salary is good with the commissions if you are good at sales, but the job itself is hostile and stressful. Managers mostly help you to keep your work/life balance.

Pros

commissions

Cons

stressful

Really depends on your team

Depending on the store location, it is very different. It is a small team and you have to compete to get sales. High sale target, not only for phone but also home service, insurance, accessories, tablet/watch. Salary varies depending on the location as well because it is all about that commission. If you can’t sell, its not worth it. Favouritism is there from the regional manager as well. If he/she likes someone else, they are going to be the next manager no matter your numbers or how hard you try.

Pros

Learn a lot, small team

Cons

Sales target

Great

Lots of upside. Never a dull moment. Everyone was allowed to say their ideas. People could work bybthemselves or in a group, whichever was better for yourself.

Pros

Bonuses

Cons

Forced overtime

Sales rep at Bell is a great job!

I love the team I worked with. The job is relaxed but simultaneously stays interesting. The hourly pay is bad but the comission helps a lot.I would recommend this job to anyone

Pros

Great benefits. Flexible schedule.

Cons

Inconsistent hours. Pay has direct correlation with foot traffic.

Good company to work for

If you are a good sales rep, you'll not find it difficult to work here, good benefits, not competitive in terms of pay and they treat you like a part-time employee even if you work full time. Good company to work for nonetheless because they give out awesome benefits and good RRSP and ESP programs.

great, company just needs to learn more appreciation

Company doesn’t appreciate hard work from employees and makes it hard to have a work/life balance. I appreciate my time there but not paid enough for the time you put in.

Sense of belonging to a team.

The products which Bell introduces are of quality and after all Bell is a brand in itself. That makes selling easy. Its fun to work as we work in a team.

Awesome

Good training, great management. Enjoyed my night shift position as well as my agent chat position. Work at home was very convenient. Train on-site then bring equipment home.

Productive and easy going place

Very easy going job, lots of room to learn the business and move up in management. Learning basics such as customer solutions and working a computer is all you need to thrive

co-workers are really friendly and fun, I learnt a lot from this job and would definitely recommend people work here as a start. however in the long term, I don't see many promotion possibilities.

Good

Good company. Great culture. This establishment provides amazing wifi BUT They lack greatly in various ways such as professionalism, respectful communication & effort. I think that although Bell Canada can be accommodating I do believe there are rough patches that they face on the job but they should always be more considerate

Learning was good! Tech support was great ! Management luck’s experience.

Good carrier path for beginners as they will learn more. For people with experience it is a bit tricky. If makes you feel weary! The boss luck the experience to lead. They just show power and too much informality. Give you all the rules and if you follow all the rules you don’t make a single sale.

Pros

Work in group

Cons

More than eight hours!

Great environment and fun co-workers

When I went in for my interview, I was basically offered a job on the spot. Was asked if I knew my way around computers and if I knew how to be initiative as well as if I handled criticism and rude customers well.

Pros

Friendly coworkers and excellent work environment
