Fun work place

Awesome job, great benefits . Great accessible location. Cafeteria and support on site . Unfortunately bell believes more in outsourcing than home grown talent

Snob culture/Insecure leaders/unionized

Bell is indeed a reputable company, but if you have strong values you will find it sad working at Bell despite some good benefits (3 weeks vacations, RRSP, pension contribution). Bell is half unionized, therefore you will find it creates a lot of divisions. HR department is quiet snob, as they feel they are better than everyone else. And they feel this way because Bell culture makes it hard for their employees to get a promotion, so when they do get a management position its such a big deal. Its human nature to cherish what took so long to achieve. Now when they get higher it create insecure leaders, constantly in fear of losing their spot under the sun. This means they feel threatened by new talented employees. They constantly remind you how long it took them to get where they are, and will deslike if you are more ambitious. Save your energy and pick a forward thinking company instead. Also salaries are non negociable..

I dont recommend working for Bell the stress and the constant drive to hit your stats gets to you after a while , dont know how i did 10 years in that environment.

I really loved working for Bell .Gain tons of experience in sales.Friendly workplace.Reffered few experienced friends and they were hired at spot.Great benefits too

No benefit, want to work full time but no opportunity. great people in my department. working environment ok, strict rules and no protection for your job. if you look for something permanent, its not the best choice.

Good place to start acquiring skills

Good place with some good people. Great place to learn. Room for advancement is limited. The company merges jobs and cuts departments which result in more workload for the remaining workforce.

Great place to work with alot of Team Spirit

Great employees. great management, great benefits. If it was not for my department being outsourced oversea, I woud still be a Bell employee. they have many committee you can get involved in such as The Bell Walk for Kids & the Bell Ambassador Program.

Very competitive environment

Overall a nice place to work but its not for everyone as there is a high level of stress with objectives to attain that are subject to change every 3 months to the point that it makes it difficult to offer a good service to the clients in the shortest amounts of time possible, as every little second on the phone counts and can have a negative impact on your record as an employee.

It's big company, but after 10 years I saw many example of things that are very unjust and unprofessional. Politic will get at you - watch your back !

Very dynamic environment. Great environment to learn continuously and improve your skills. There is no typical day as a manager. It is a culture of best customer service provided every day.

Customer Service

Great place to learn how to sell and interact with customers in a professional way. Great place to learn billing systems and get general information on the latest telecom technologies. However it is a gigantic company and things change quickly and all the time and it is sometimes hard to keep up.
