Good culture, good support and growth focused options for those willing to work for them
Sales Representative (Former Employee) - Toronto, ON - 12 January 2023
Featured review
Bell selected this as a representative reviewI began working as a Brand Ambassador for Bell through a Marketing Agency and quickly established great relationships with many managers at Bell. Upon joining Bell I was able to grow rapidly and take over a position at 2 of the best preforming stores in the country Eaton Center and York Dale Mall. There I was able to advance my level of income year over year as I quickly and constantly improved my customer relation-building and sales abilities. I had a great support system from Regional Managers as well as Directors and was able to constantly diversify my skillset and build stronger relationships across multiple regions and take on multiple roles which I much enjoyed. It was a very dynamic role and I got paid well enough for it and those who were committed could earn a 6 figure salary with commission, paid vacations, stock and RRSP contribution matching as well as benefits.
Pros
Commission + Base Pay
Cons
Commission could have been better, Sales people can be difficult to work with if you yourself are not aggressive

Not the best
Operational floater (Current Employee) - Toronto, ON - 25 November 2023
Constantly downsizing and merging departments so that one employee is now doing the job of 3 without any pay raise. Burnout is a big problem. Managers try their best but it is the higher ups decisions

Below average pay and constant cuts
Manager, Finance (Former Employee) - Toronto, ON - 7 November 2023
Layoffs are constantly happening and the pay is subpar to begin with. Raises are in the 1-2% range yearly and you are told to be be appreciative of those figures. Verily little opportunity for advancement with widespread advancement. WFH was widely praised during covid but now forced back into the office.

Jobs at Bell
Decent job, great people
Office Manager (Former Employee) - London, ON - 30 September 2023
I was really happy with my time at Bell. My coworkers were tremendous and management was kind and helpful. Regular amount of vacation, sick and personal days, nothing crazy.

Constant reorg resulting in every changing goals and priorities
Sr. Operations Manager (Current Employee) - Toronto - 28 September 2023
Due to constant reorgs and management changes the business units are constantly changing strategies which is resulting in very little improvements and stability within the team. This has resulted in the exodus of many talented and high performing individuals which only adds to the stress to the remaining team members. The working environment has started to shift from a fun productive environment to a stressful combative one.
Pros
Exposed to new technologies and and projects
Cons
Drastically understaffed causing stressful work environments, long working hours.

Pros
Télétravail, assurances, salaire
Cons
Gestion non empathique

fun but exhausting
Digital Social Producer (Current Employee) - Toronto, ON - 24 August 2023
What is the best part of working at the company? The community and the supportive team members. What is the most stressful part about working at the company? The work pressure. You can't make any mistakes, none. That was the most stressful part. What is the work environment and culture like at the company? Collaborative and supportive work environment. What is a typical day like for you at the company? Pitch meetings, with content creating along with some playful banter and little snack treats.

Chill Job but mediocre pay
Sales Associate (Former Employee) - Winnipeg, MB - 23 August 2023
Work heavily depends on location. Slower locations are very chill and relaxed but pay very little commission. Busier locations are the opposite. Decent job to build up sales experience but very little incentive to stay long term.
Pros
Relaxed, Stress Free
Cons
Low pay

Leading edge technology with an all inclusive culture
Business Analyst (Former Employee) - Ottawa, ON - 15 August 2023
My time (35 yrs) at Bell was always progressive and moving towards a solid future. The knowledge taught, as an employee, is desired by many external companies! Many memories and friendships made along the way!
Pros
Future modelling and paid education
Cons
High standards makes for a sometimes stressful workday

Excellent workplace with good work life balance
Project Manager (Current Employee) - Mississauga - 30 July 2023
Great work life balance, the management is supportive. You can get a chance to switch to another team, the compensation is low as compared to market. There are training programs that you can choose from to switch to another career

Pretty good
Cyber Security Analyst (Current Employee) - Toronto, ON - 25 July 2023
Good company to work at. Sometimes progression can be slow but probably depends on your field. Just did a bunch of layoffs (July 2023) so if a position is filled should be fairly secure
