Hypocrisy
welder (Former Employee) –  Ingersoll, ON2 March 2019
Amazing how the most unethical of the bunch hops on line and gives a glowing review. This employer operates in the middle ages and has no respect for anyone and it shows on a daily basis. It is very telling that buddy would accuse someone of being lazy. There are laws and legislation (ESA and OSHA) in place which protect workers from abusive employers like buddy. The hypocrisy is unbelievable at Bell-Camp. Don`t work there if you value your reputation and your health.

Amazing Place to work!
Welder/Fitter (Current Employee) –  Ingersoll, ON5 February 2019
As usual, those that don't want to work, leave the feedback. I thought I would let you know the real Bell-Camp, the one everyone that works at Bell-Camp knows.

I have worked at Bell-Camp for the past 15+ years and look forward to going to work every day. Bell-Camp is run by amazing management who are always looking ahead to ensure the shop is always busy regardless of how the economy is doing, I have never once felt my job was in jeopardy even when other similar companies where laying off or closing completely. The owner is very approachable and very caring about his employees, its like a family where everyone has everyone else's back. The work completed at Bell-Camp is very diverse and rarely is a project repeated, so ever project is new and this makes the job very exciting and satisfying. If you want to be successful in the steel fabrication industry, you will be nothing but successful working at Bell-Camp, and likely like me, will make it your entire career.

Overtime available, though not required unless its very critical to meet a customers completion requirement. Pay overtime after 40 hours, double time after 50 hours. They offer a generous night shift premium
Pros
Excellent safe work environment, always changing work, great management, great co-workers, profit sharing, great benefit plan, and much more
Cons
Dealing with the occasional co-worker that is always unhappy with everything, and the patience management has to give them far too many chances.

The best example of a bad employer
quality (Former Employee) –  Ingersoll31 January 2019
A deeply flawed company. Managers and supervisors are not trustworthy. They will lie to you , they will lie about you and they have no real regard for health and safety. Watch your pay cheque closely because they have no shame and will rip you off and then say they did you a favor. Jobs in Oxford County are hard to come by, but you will soon realize that you made a huge mistake by accepting employment with this company. Keep your cards close to your chest, don't give them anything they won't pay for and beware the the old timers The ones that claim to know everything and cringe at the thought that you will uncover their incompetence. This place is a black hole of deception and overwhelming ego.

it's a job

Great place to work with Great people
Welder/Labourer (Former Employee) –  Ingersoll, ON12 February 2015
Bell Camp is an excellent place to craft your welding skills and take in a lot of information in the manufacturing field. Management and coworkers really care about you and what you to succeed along with the company. Multi pass welding was one of the great things I learnt while I was there, and the only rough part of the job was the long night shift.

Typically it was a quick shift on days and there was always lots to do, especially if you "floated" to different jobs to change up the pace.
Pros
Great people
Cons
Night shift was long (4:30pm - 3:00am)

Interesting prototype work. Never did the same thing twice.
Shift Supervisor / Fitter / Welder / Machine Oper. (Former Employee) –  Ingersoll, ON10 September 2014
Solid working environment. Good team and goal oriented atmosphere. Straight afternoon shift was my only complaint.
