Needs improvement
I worked there for about 3-4 months, learning that the management only followed and applied policies when they wanted to, also false promises they could tell you one thing and they’ve changed third minds within seconds and do not communicate any of it with you. It can get extremely stressful as all restaurants do but they don’t provide help and expect us to be able to handle every situation thrown the employees way. The gm would have bad days and take it out on his employees…not an environment i recommend to anyone

Beertown is really a family
Over the year I worked at beertown some people came and went buy one thing always stayed the same, I truly felt home and happy everyday u came into work. Both the front of the house are some of the kindest, funniest and most amazing people I ever got to work with, and if it wasn’t for commute times I wouldn’t even thought of switching jobs. Beertown Cambridge has an amazing and reliable team that you can count on no matter how stressful or busy it gets. If you like team work this is the place for you.

Very fun to work here, but advancement isn’t much of an option.
Great place to work, the staff is amazing, but it is a tough place to advance. Management is good but they are not always straight forward with you .

Great company!
I’ve been with this company for 7 years and I’ve moved from a host to salaried management! I love the company and love seeing it grow! They respect their staff and have great benefits for anyone working full time! When I first started out the CEO ran the training and I met him my first day as a host. When I became management he remembered me and congratulated me!

Enjoyed my time there for the most part
Great food and drink menu. 40% off food when you work that day. Loved the staff. Make decent tips. Was promised benefits but never got them. Favouritism. Constantly focusing on what your doing wrong with little positive feedback / encouragement. Management was unprofessional when dealing with issues. Would have loved to stay otherwise.
