Our provincial office in Vancouver, which oversees animal cruelty investigations, advocacy and education for youth and adults and other key activities across B.C.

A fantastic work place with an amazing culture
This was a fantastic job! As an ACA 1 my job was mostly cleaning, feeding and insuring the animals got lots of love! My co-workers were incredibly caring, and put a TON of work in to make sure each animal was going to the right home for them. If I hadn't moved back home, I would have happily made a career at the BC SPCA

Little support, burnout, and management will take advantage
I really saw and believe that managers and higher ups did little to nothing, got paid the most, and left those who actually taking care of animals or do animal control have to do back breaking work, are expected to do "unofficial" or unpaid overtime constantly, have to skip breaks, and get left with extra work that isn't part of their job. Not mention these worker who work the hardest get paid lit...
