Has very good work/life balance. Getting time off can be challenging at times. The business management is good, they have a firm grasp of the direction of the organization.

Fabulous work experience.
Property Management & Administrative Support (Former Employee) –  Victoria, BC14 September 2018
Worked as Property Manager for 2 buildings in Victoria. Temporary assignment to cover maternity leave...lasted 18 months.
Multi-faceted position that involved quick thinking during times when an emergency occurred.
Cons
Position could not be extended & there were no new job postings during that time frame.

Pays well, and you're set for life, if you can stand it
IT (Former Employee) –  Victoria18 July 2017
In todays job market we don't have many options... and these guys know it. Thanks to a robust union you get a massive paycheque and a lot of slack, but culture will make you question if its all really worth that.
Pros
Pay. Barely have to work.
Cons
The lifers will drive you mad.

A fun workplace to work
Authorizations Manager (Former Employee) –  Fort St. John, BC23 May 2017
OGC was a good place to work and with competitive salary. The workplace was fun especially with fellow employees and their cultures. It was a place to learn new knowledge and to acquire dynamic experiences in the oil and gas industry working with an array of stakeholders, including public, industry, first nation communities and environmental advocates.
Pros
Nice co-workers
Cons
Higher managers
